Profile setup, verification and cleanup

I get your Google profile claimed, verified and cleaned up, so the right details show and duplicates are gone.

What this is

Your Google profile is the box that shows up when someone searches for your business, or for a service like yours nearby. It shows your hours, phone number, reviews, photos and a map pin.

A lot of profiles were set up years ago and never touched again. Some were made by Google from public info, and nobody at the business has claimed them. Some have an old phone number, or there are two listings for the same business. This service fixes that first.

What I do

  • Claim or recover your profile. If nobody owns it, I help you claim it. If an old staff member or agency had control, I help you get it back through Google’s own steps. Getting back a profile that is suspended, or that someone else controls, is extra work on top of the setup price. I’ll tell you after your 3 fixes if yours needs it, and quote it before I start.
  • Get it verified. Google wants proof that you run the business. Depending on your business, that can be a video, a phone call, a text or an email. I walk you through it. Google says verified businesses are more likely to show up in search results.
  • Fix the basics. Business name, address or service area, phone, website, and hours. Every detail should match what customers see in real life.
  • Clean up duplicates. Two listings for one business split your reviews and confuse customers. I find them and ask Google to merge or remove the extra one.
  • Check the map pin. A pin in the wrong spot sends people to the wrong door.

Done the way Google allows

Google has clear rules for how a business shows up. A few that matter here:

  • Your business name must be your real name, the one on your sign and your paperwork. No extra keywords added.
  • If you visit customers and don’t serve people at your address, Google wants you to hide your address and show your service area instead.
  • Virtual offices and mailbox addresses are not allowed.
  • One profile per business.

You can read Google’s own rules in its guidelines for representing your business.

You stay the owner

You stay the owner of your profile the whole time. I am added as a manager, so I can make updates but can’t remove you. Google’s rules for agencies say the business must always keep ownership. If you ever stop working with me, I remove myself and you keep everything.

I will never ask for your Google password.

What I need from you

A short call to start. Then a few minutes to add me as a manager. I’ll show you how. If Google asks for a verification video or code, you’ll need to be at the business to do it. I’ll tell you exactly what to film or click.
