What this is
Your business is listed on lots of sites besides Google: map apps, directories, review sites and local lists. In the trade, these are called citations, and keeping your Name, Address and Phone the same on all of them is called NAP consistency.
When those details don’t match, customers call old numbers or drive to old addresses. It can also make it harder for Google to be sure which details are right.
What I do
- Find your listings. I search the main directories, map apps and review sites for your business, including old names and old phone numbers.
- Fix them. I correct wrong details, or ask the site to. Some sites are quick, some are slow.
- Clean up duplicates. Two listings for one business split your reviews and confuse people.
- Fill the gaps. I add you to the main sites you are missing from. Only real, useful sites, not hundreds of junk directories.
- Give you the list. You get a simple list of every listing, so you own the record.
Honest expectations
Matching listings help customers find the right details, and help Google trust your info. On its own, it won’t push you to the top. It works best as part of a complete profile with steady reviews.
What I need from you
Tell me about any old names, addresses or phone numbers your business has used. Those are the ones that cause the most trouble.
