These terms cover your use of this website and the free 3 fixes. JM Digital is run by Jim MacDonald in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

The 3 free fixes

• The 3 fixes are free. Asking for them does not commit you to anything.
• It is my honest opinion, based on what I can see on your public Google profile and nearby competitors at the time.
• You're free to use it yourself, share it, or ignore it.

No ranking guarantees

Google decides where businesses show up. Nobody can guarantee a #1 spot or any set place, and I don't. What I commit to is the work described in our agreement, done the way Google's rules allow.

Paid work

If you hire me, we'll agree in writing on what I'll do, the price and the notice period. That agreement covers the paid work. Prices on this site are "from" prices in Canadian dollars and can change.

Your Google profile

You stay the owner of your Google Business Profile. I work as a manager on it. When our work ends, I remove my access within 5 business days of your notice.

Information on this site

I try to keep everything here correct and up to date, including what I say about Google's rules. Google changes its rules and products often, so always check Google's own pages before you act. The information here is general, not advice for your exact situation.

This site links to other websites, such as Google's help pages. I'm not responsible for what's on them.

Not part of Google

JM Digital is an independent business. It is not part of, endorsed by or partnered with Google. Google, Google Maps and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC.

Best of Edmonton

I also run Best of Edmonton (EdmontonLocal.biz). Its list is built only from Google ratings and review counts. Hiring JM Digital does not change a business's place on it.

Limits

I do my work carefully, but I can't control Google. Google decides how, where and whether a profile shows up, and it can change its rules, suspend profiles or remove reviews at any time. I don't promise rankings, calls, sales or any particular result.

If something I did causes you a loss, the most I will owe you is the amount you paid me in the three months before the problem. I'm not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost business. Nothing here takes away rights that the law says you keep.

Law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
